- is a beautiful ancient city and the capital of Liaoning
Province. It is the political, economic and cultural center
of Northeast China. It is 45 meters above sea level with
distinctive seasons. It is inhabited by 30 nationalities
with the Hans constituting the majority.It

North Tomb
- was built in 1643, Zhaoling is the tomb of Emperor Huangtaiii
(1592-1643), the second founder of the Qing Dynasty, and his wife.
It is known as North Tomb because it is situated to the north
of the city and is the largest among the three early Qing tombs.
East Tomb - Fuling, located in the eastern suburbs
of Shenyang, is the tomb of Nuerhachi (1559-1626), the first founder
of the Qing Dynasty, and his wife with a 108-steps stairway leading
up to the ceremonial buildings and burial ground.
Shenyan
Imperial Palace - is located in the center of the old city
of Shenyang as the royal residence for Nuerhachi and his son Huangtaiii,
founders of the Qing Dynasty between 1625 and 1636. There are
about 90 buildings partitioned into 300 rooms as a harmonious
blending of distinct features of the Han, Mongol and Manchu nationalities.
