Songshan Mountain- is known locally as Middle Mountain, surrounded by Taishi Mountain and Shaoshi Mountain stretching over 60 kilometers from east to west. From the top of the peak, one can see a blur image of the Yellow River on the horizon to the north and the many scenic areas and historical sites below.

  Shaolin Temple- was built in the nineteenth year during the Northern Wei Dynasty (495 AD). In the early Tang Dynasty, monks of the Shaolin Temple helped a prince who later became Emperor Taizhong. This act of protection lead to the rise of Shaolin martial arts and legends have been handed down to this day and spread overseas. The 500-Arhat Wall of the Ming Dynasty and the Forest of Steles inside the Temple, as well as the Pagoda Forest to the west of the Temple are the most cherished of the world-renowned Chinese cultural relics.
