Mount Dinghushan
Eighteen kilometers east of Zhaoqing,
Dinghushan Mountain has become famousfor the pool on its top. Scenic spots
include streams, brooks, pools, hills and pavilions. The soil is ideal
and more than 1,700 varieties of plants grow on the mountain. It has been
designated as a research center of the UN Man and Biological Circle project.

Located
72 kilometers east of the city of Chiayi is a range of 18 mountains called
Mount Ali Scenic Area. The whole area is densely forested with a total
forest area covering thirty thousand hectares. It is popular among hikers
because of its heavy forests. Mount Ali is known to be a favorite for
its sunrise view from Celebration Peak.
