Hong Kong - Lantau Island

Of all the outlying islands, the greatest in size is Lantau, situated west of Hong Kong island. The highest peak of the island is Lantau Peak that rises 935 meters high at the heart of Lantau. Lantau Peak is the second highest peak in Hong Kong. Tourist attractions include Shek Pike Reservoir, Silver Mine Bay and Po Lin Monastery which is the site of the largest outdoor sitting bronze Buddha.


Hong Kong - The Peak

Situated in the west of the Hong Kong Island, the Peak is the highest point in Hong Kong - 551 meters high. The Peak Garden was built on top of the Peak as a vantage point for visitors to view the scenes above Hong Kong. The Peak Tramway has been carrying tourists up to the peak from the lower levels for over a century.

The Peak is the trademark of Hong Kong and is a must for all visitors.
