Jiaoshan Mt.

Jiaoshan Mountain is also known as Jade Hill because of itsdark green foliage (cypresses and bamboo) It is located on a small island with a number of pavilions along the way to the top of the 150 meters high mount, from where Xijiang Tower gives a view of activity on the Yangtze River. At the base of Jiaoshan is an active monastery with some 200 pieces of tablet engravings, gardens and bonsai displays.

Huashan Mountain

Mt. Huashan is recognized as one of the five great mountains of China. It is 120 kilometers east of Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, southeast of Huayin County, and is known for its steep cliffs and precipices. Five peaks are most prominent and the tallest rises 2,200 meters above sea level. There is only one 15- kilometer path from north to south which is almost perpendicular to the face. It is easy to imagine how perilous and awesome the path is by the descriptive names of the peaks, such as "Monkey's Frown", "Thousand Feet Precipice", and "Ear Touching Cliff".
