The
Central district is the heart of Hong Kong. It forms the
city's financial, business and administrative core with major banks,
hotels and smart shops, and the geometric architecture of high-rise
buildings make up the most dramatic portion of the city's fabled skyline.
You will be drawn to the area and want to return with many activities;
such as the Star Ferry terminal to take the Star Ferry across the harbor,
the Lower Peak Tram Terminal (for access to the Peak) and Hong Kong
Parkˇ¦s fascinating Museum of Tea Ware. The more popular streets
are Queen's Road, Des Voeux Road and Connaught Road for some of the
best shopping centers, notably Pacific Place, the Landmark and Prince's
Building.
