The
Cloud Valley Temple
The sprawling Cloud Valley Temple is approached by climbing the eastern
side of Mount Huang and then passing Kuzhuxi. The temple, hidden between
Boyu Peak and the Luohan Peak, is surrounded by ridges and peaks, pines
and bamboo. On the southern roadside are stone carvings from different generations.
The Nine-Dragon Waterfall
It is the most magnificent waterfall of Mount Huang, cascading down between
the Xianglu Peak and the Luohan Peak in 9 steps.
Baizhang Spring
A huge spring has formed on the way from the Hot Spring to the Cloud Valley
Temple where the spring water descends down between the Clear Pool Peak
and the Purple Cloud Peak for a length of about 330 meters. The waterfall
looks beautiful like drifting yarn in the dry season when the water flow
decreases in quantity to a trickle.
The Pine Valley Nunnery
The Pine Valley Nunnery lies below Diezhang Peak. There are five dragon
pools in the front: the Black Dragon Pool, the Yellow Dragon Pool, the
Old Dragon Pool, the White Dragon Pool and the Green Dragon Pool to give
it a beautiful and striking appearance.
