Mt. Huangshan is very famous for its beautiful landscape and abundant cultural resources. The World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed Mt. Huangshan on the list of Natural and Cultural Heritage of the World in 1990.

Itinerary for 3 Days ( 3 Days/ 2 Nights)
  • Route A:
    Day 1: Arrive at Tunxi (downtown of Huangshan City ) in the morning. Bus takes you to Huangshan Scenic Area. Cable-car up the Mountain. Visit such scenic spots on a short hike as Begin-to-believe Peak, Flower Growing out of Pen-tip, Lion Peak, etc. Stay over night in one of the hotels on the top of Mt. Huangshan. Hotel: Xihai / Biehia / Shilin
    Day 2: Wake up early to see the sunrise. Sightseeing hike to Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, Flying-over Rock, Bright Summit. etc. Cable-car down. Back to Tunxi by bus. Hotel: International / Hongta
    Day 3: Tunxi City tour. Visit Tunxi Ancient Street, Ink Factory, etc. before departure.
  • Route B:
    Day 1: Arrive at Tunxi in the afternoon. Bus takes you to Huangshan Scenic Area at foot of the mountain. Hotel: Taoyuan International
    Day 2: Cable-car up the mountain. Visit Begin-to-believe Peak, Flower cat of Pen-tip, Lion Peak, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion,Flying-over Rock, Bright-top, etc. Hotel: Xihai / Beihai / Shilin
    Day 3: Wake up early to see the sunrise before taking cable-car down. Back to Tunxi by bus. City tour visit Tunxi Ancient Street, ink Factory before departure.
  • Route C:
    Day 1: Arrive at Tunxi in the evening. Hotel: International / Hongtai
    Day 2: Bus to Scenic Area and board the cable-car up the mountain. Afternoon hike to visit Flower Growing out-of pen-tip in a dream, Lion Peak, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, Flying-over Rock, Bright Summit, etc. Hotel: Xihai / Beihai / Shilin
    Day 3: Wake up early to see the sunrise and visit Begin-to-believe Peak before taking cable-car down, Back to Tunxi by bus. City tour, including Tunxi Ancient Street, Ink Factory etc. Departure.
Note: The three different routes above are suitable for tourists of normal physical shape and not very strenuous.
