Currency
The partaca (composed of 100 avoa) is the official currency in Macau. It is available in bank-notes with denominations of MOP$1,000, MOP$500, MOP$100, MOP$50 and MOP$20, and in coins of MOP$10, MOP$5, MOP$1 and 50 avos, 20 avos and 10 avos. HK dollars are also widely accepted. The Macau pataca can be freely converted into Chinese yuan or other foreign currency. It is pegged to the HongKong dollar-which is circulated freely in Macau at the rate of 103.20 patacas=HK$100.00, with a permissible variation of up to 10%.

Climate
Moderate to hot, with an average annual temperature of just over 20°C and a mean variation between 16°C and 25°C. the best season is autumn when days are sunny and warm and the humidity is low.
