Culture of the Yangtze centers around the river life and the area of Three Gorges belongs to the Culture of Ba &Chu of ancient China. The mixed Culture, having prevailed over a large region across Sichuan and Hubei and other neighboring areas, is considered an independently-developed culture yet shares some similarities. The most perceivable feature of the culture centers around the complex awe toward the power of spirits, such as Cliff Coffin and Fengdu City of Ghosts.

There was great turmoil with a series of conflicts and wars among three major states back 1700 years ago which left indelible historic relics and legends so popular that Chinese children still recount lengthy stories about those events of long ago.

The majority of people touring this area do so on a cruise ship so the best part of the journey is on the deck amidst the spectacular scenery, floating by nature at its best. The grand gorges on their own are the much anticipated focal point of a moving picture illustrating her unique beauty created by the almighty power.

Guests on the cruise ships have onboard entertainment with dancing and singing performance nightly. TV, VCD or Karaoke are essential facilities with Cafes and pubs also available. There are special interest activities organized by the crew for small group to learn Chinese family cuisine cooking or informative lectures on Chinese culture.
