International Calligraphers' Conference

Time: November 2001 (biannual) This showcase for calligraphers features an elaborate opening ceremony to inscribe a hundred-meter-long scroll. Calligraphers from China and other countries meet to award certificates to the best participants, exhibit traditional Chinese stationery and tour the Stele Forest, Jiucheng Palace and the Stone Gate.
