Zhuhai Airport is located at Sanzao in the west of Zhuhai, 40 kilometers
away from the city center and operating over 40 flights to major domestic
cities. The runway, reception hall, communication and radio navigation
system all are rated at an international advanced level. The runway is
4,000 meters long and 60 meters wide. The slide road is 4,000 meters long
and 44 meters wide, offering various types of planes in the world to take-off
and land.

By water
The water transport is advantageous in Zhuhai so 85% of the cargo
is transported by water. Among the four ports, Jiuzhou, Xiangzhou,
Tangila and Doumen handle river cargo, Jiuzhou handles passenger and
cargo shipping between Zhuhai and Hong Kong, Jiuzhou and Xiangzhou
have shipping lines with Shekou of Shenzhen, as well as with Hong
Kong. "Sea Buses" are ferries that come in and go out between
Zhuhai and Hong Kong via Jiuzhou Port, while the large-scale Zhuhai
Port makes the Pacific Ocean the "blue race course" of Zhuhai. |

By road
A transport network operating in all directions has been set up in
Zhuhai with high and middle level high ways as its main artery and
urban streets at its center. There are 85 streets totaling 100 kilometers,
half of them are high-level highways. Over 110 bridges have put an
end to the dead end street. It takes only 3 hours from Zhuhai to Guangzhou
along No. 105 National Road that leads to Beijing. The westerly highway
reaches Doumen, Zhanjiang, Jiangmen, Xinhui to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous
Region.  |

By Taxi
There are 24 taxi companies with 1773 cars in Zhuhai. The taxis cruise
along streets and lanes so you can flag a passing taxi anywhere you want.
The fare is metered. The minimum price is 10 yuan and 2.4 yuan per kilometer.
If there is reason to believe the fare seems unreasonable, you can complain
to the taxi company by telephone. The phone number is printed in the car.
There are three kinds of taxis in Zhuhai: red in the city center, yellow
to Zhuhai Airport to travel between the city and the airport, stopping
at the Port and some specific stops and blue in Doumen County, traveling
between the western part to the city proper, stopping mainly at Gongbei
Port.
