The Eiffel Tower was built for the centennial celebration of the
French revolution. The Tower is naturally shaped in proportion,
soaring and graceful as the ample embodiment capturing the beauty
of modern science and technology. As the symbol of Paris, the
ancient capital, it towers aloft in bright sunny days or the gloomy
rainy season, overlooking the French scorching soil where bloodshed
is now replaced with flowers in bloom and now marching into prosperity.
Maybe there will be a day when man looks back and meditates on
his own history and discovers: war and peace is just like a feud,
might in whose cruel struggle, history arduously works its way
out.

Windmills and tulips are symbols of Holland. In Holland, everywhere
you go, just look over the fields, you will find the leisurely
swing of the ancient windmills. In May with the advent of spring,
the tulips in fields bloom brightly and gaily. In such a dreamy
and picturesque homeland, we love and live with freedom and strife.
Guided by love and peace, we regain security of a paradise with
joy and happiness.

The Colosseum
is an amazing example of architecture from ancient Rome that still
stands. As the prototype of later stadiums, the Colosseum continues
to have great influence on humanity. History has witnessed how
many gladiators died in the past so savagely and miserably during
mortal combat among the slaves and animal fights for Roman aristocrats.
A life of peace and freedom should be greatly cherished as our
heartfelt yearnings of past sufferings.
