A visit to Window of the World is a novel
experience every time. A leisurely journey of the park is by
train on an elevated single track or enjoy the splendid Shenzhen
Bay from the 108 m tall observation deck of the Eiffel Tower
up in the glass-enclosed elevator for a bird's eye view of all
the scenic spots. There are all modes of transportation to rest
whilst enjoying the scenery, a horse-drawn European carriage,
a prestigious vintage car, a romantic Venetian gondola or a
river raft adrift on the Grand Canyon.
Food and shopping is an attraction on
European Street with indoor dining and open air seating among
the ethnic restaurants. The German beer can also quench the
thirst of busy sightseers.
There are nine feature areas divided
into the World Square, Asian Area, Oceanic Area, European Area,
African Area, American Area, Recreation Center of Modern Science
and Technology, the World Sculptures Gallery and International
Street. The Global Showcase features the international entertainers
coming together to perform their national songs and dances in
a nightly revue on the World Stage.

The park is situated by Shenzhen Bay in the vicinity of the
Splendid China, China Folk Culture Villages, "Window of
the World". There is an entrance with a pedestrian overpass
across the S.Shen Ave with the Eiffel Tower above. Visitors
are greeted with a reproduction of the Golden Gate Bridge in
San Francisco at the entrance as the prelude to a grand global
journey. It continues past Greece's Corinth Colonnade, in front
of the World Square, through the China Gate and changes borders.
The first sighting is the Area of Asia , the Angkor Wat of Cambodia,
one of the "Four Oriental Wonders", Borobur of Indonesia,
then to the Taj Mahal in India and Katsura, the Palace of Japan.
Passing through Southeastern Asian Waterside Villages to the
Oceanica section for the Sydney Opera House, Ayers Rock of Australia,
the houses of Maoris from New Zealand. Other sights among the
regional areas is France's Eiffel Tower, L'Arc de Triomphe,
The Fountain of the Observatory and Saint Michel's Abbey; whereas
the two sides of the gardens capture humanism throughout time.
In the Area of Africa, there are trbal customs, ancient culture
and the troubled life of the primitive mainland tribes. The
Area of America displays the grandeur of nature in the Grand
Canyon and Niagara Waterfalls to manmade symbols of modernization
with Mt. Rushmore and New York's Manhattan skyline followed
by the mysterious atmosphere of the magical Easter Island, Linear
Drawings at Nasca. This is the end of another beginning of another
journey around the world.
