Shanghai Dongjiadu Cathedral
 
East Beijing Church (1655 A.D.)
Located on the east of Ba Liancao, outside the Dongan City Gate is the East Beijing Church. The church was first built by Luigi Buglio (1606-1682 A..D.) and was known as St. Joseph Church. The building of the church is of Roman style architecture with many Christian paintings inside. It was burnt down in 1807 and 1900 (June 13) but rebuilt in 1904. Nowadays, the church is known as the Catholic Church in Beijing.

Shanghai Xujiahui Catheral
Xujiahui Cathedral, the largest Catholic churchin Shanghai, was constructed at 158 Puxi Road in 1910. It is a French Gothic architecture with the two belfries tower up to the sky. The outer walls are made up of red bricks with the eaves, gates and windows being of Gothic design. The church is richly ornamented with marble sculptures. The highrise and slender structure creates a mysterious illusion of heaven

Xu Hui Public School (1850)
In 1850, Christian Missionaries established a Christian school in Xu Jiahui of Shanghai originally called Ignacio High School. The school accepted both Christians and non-Christians alike, teaching Chinese, grammar, painting, music, physics, geography and history in the 20th century. In 1932, the school was officially named Xu Hui High School.
Dongjiadu Cathedral was built at 175 Dongjiadu Road in 1853. It was the first Catholicchurch set up by foreigners in China modeled after the tradiotional early Spanish Baroque style and features eight Spanish pillars with a composition of four arched clay roofs. East Orthodox Church- North (1685 A.D.)
The East Orthodox Church was also known as the 'Russian Church', or the 'St. Mary Sabbath Church'. It was first built in 1685 (Qing Dynasty) ans is located inside the Dong Zhi Gate, in Hutong of Hujiayuan. It was the home of the Russian East Orthodox Missionary. The property is huge with a total of 376 buildings. The church collapsed during an earthquake and was rebuilt in 1932. It was destroyed in 1956 and is now home to the Russian Ambassador Building in Beijing.

Tomb of Matteo Ricci (1610)
Matteo Ricci's tomb is located two miles from Beijing 's west gate. The tomb is shaped as a small hill and the title on the tomb reads, '1610, Pioneer of Christian Missionary'. There is a cross carved on the tomb with inscription in both Latin and Chinese. On the two sides are the tombs of Ferdinand Verbiest, and Jojann Adam Scall von Bell. The communist Chinese believe the tomb is symbolic because of Ricci's achievements in China and they have been diligent to do a good job in its upkeep and protect the tomb from vandalism.
